Privacy Policy
Protecting Your Privacy, Our Top Priority
Fairpicture AG operates FairConsent. This Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data in connection with our websites, communications and FairConsent services.
1. Who is responsible for your data?
Controller for this website and Fairpicture’s own business data:
Address:
Fairpicture AG, Brunnmattstrasse 21, 3007 Bern
Email:
info@fairpicture.org
For FairConsent customer content, the customer generally acts as controller. Fairpicture generally processes that data on the customer’s documented instructions as processor. Questions about customer content should normally go to the relevant customer organisation
2. Personal data we process
Depending on how people interact with us, we may process contact/account information; website technical data such as IP address, browser/device information, account/service-use information; customer content submitted through FairConsent; and information needed to meet legal obligations or protect our services.
3. Why we process it
We process Fairpicture’s own data to operate, secure and improve our sites/services; respond to enquiries and support customers; administer accounts; comply with legal obligations; and protect against misuse or security threats. We rely on the applicable legal basis, such as contract, legal obligation, consent where required, or legitimate interests. For customer content, we process data under the customer’s documented instructions and the applicable DPA.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share it with service providers/sub-processors that help operate, secure or support FairConsent, subject to safeguards; advisers/authorities where required by law; or a successor organisation in a corporate transaction.
5. International transfers
FairConsent service hosting is located in Switzerland. Some providers may process data elsewhere. Where transfers occur, we use the mechanism and safeguards required by applicable law.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain data only as long as necessary for the purpose, service provision, legal obligations, disputes or agreement enforcement. Customer-content retention/deletion follows customer configuration, the agreement and documented processes.
7. Security
We use organisational and technical measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. No system can be guaranteed completely secure; we continuously review and improve safeguards.
8. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, people may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability. For Fairpicture website/business/account data, contact info@fairpicture.org. For data submitted to a FairConsent customer, contact that customer first.
9. Changes
We may update this policy when processing, services or legal obligations change. We will publish updates here and revise the Last updated date.
